Therapists joining ATMA CENA can choose between two distinct streams:

1. Private Practice within a Psychedelic Therapy Center: Continue your existing counseling practice within a fully equipped clinic environment that offers comprehensive administrative support and access to legally permitted services, such as Ketamine Assisted Therapy, Psilocybin and MDMA Assisted Therapy through the SAP and rTMS.
New Office Spaces (windows and non-window) varying monthly rates. Free parking, and central location.

Practitioners currently operating in existing practices or those looking to establish their own private practice are welcome to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful applicants:

  • Hold appropriate registration and be in good standing with their respective professional regulatory bodies.
  • Have completed relevant education or training as required by their field of practice.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to collaborative care and integrative health principles.
  • Be open to enrolling in or have completed Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (PaT) training (ATMA PaT training will be offered at a significant discount for qualified candidates).
  • Maintain at least $5,000,000 in professional liability insurance.

JOB TITLE
Nurse Practitioner

QUALIFICATIONS
• Current certificate of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta, in good standing in the Extended Class as an NP (adult) or NP (primary health care).
• Master’s degree in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) or Masters of Science in Nursing with successful completion of a post Master’s Nurse Practitioner Diploma from a recognized school of graduate studies.
• Prior experience in settings dealing with mental health issues or therapeutic interventions (>3 Years).
• Current BLS or ACLS certification
• Current standard first aid certification and in-depth understanding of mental health first aid.
• Additional certifications or training in psychiatric nursing, mental health nursing, or related fields are an asset.
• Must have completed, or be willing to enroll, Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (PaT) training
• Demonstrated ability to engage with all patients as individuals in a respectful manner while fostering open, inclusive, honest, and compassionate relationships; exhibit cultural competency, including Indigenous health cultural competency, and engage with patients in a culturally safe way; provide appropriate interventions for adverse drug reactions and suspected overdoses; respond effectively to medical emergencies beyond adverse reactions; deliver harm reduction drug consumption training for patients; and ensure safety and security in response to aggressive or violent incidents.
